Having started its work since October 1991, BGI St.Petersburg is the first officially registered crewing agency in the North-West region (of Russia). Our Company activity has been certified by the RF Ministry of internal affairs (license N 1520160155) and the RF Ministry of transport (license N 0000979).

Taking an active part in solving problems connected with crewing development, we were one of the initiators of establishing the Association of crewing companies – ACPONT (The Association of companies involved in seafarers' selection, training, recruitment and employment), the member of which BGI has been since 1997.

Talking of our present success, we should mention that according to the results of the city competition conducted by the government of St.Petersburg our Company was acknowledged as the Best Recruitment Agency in St.Petersburg - 2007 and 2008 in the nomination “Employment abroad”.  Our Company priorities have always been: honesty and following its principles, initiative and professional approach. Due to these qualities BGI St.Petersburg has been holding the leading position in the recruitment of marine personnel for 20 years.

We cooperate with the leading marine training centres of St.Petersburg which provide discounts to BGI seafarers trained there.
